MTAC 2010, Trooping, Photoshoots… etc!

(This post may seem a little repetitive – this was ported over from my livejournal and recapped a lot of stuff I’d recently posted on my blog. Now that my LJ posts are part of my blog, it’s very redundant!)

A recap of recent costume-y stuff…

MTAC came and went and we got stranded there an extra day because of the flood. It was all pretty icky, for everyone involved. I wore my makeshift Julia (Cowboy Bebop) costume – consider it a preview of Black Widow for Dragoncon, since that’s what I bought the suit for šŸ™‚

We did Star Wars in concert – it was awesome. Didn’t get ANY pics because we were mobbed by people!

I finally scanned in the film photos from Dragoncon 2003 LOL They’re at the bottom of this set. (Only a few years late!)

I reorganized all of my costumes with a new system, I’m SUPER happy with it!! Here’s the finished closet.

We did an event for the Memphis Redbird – Star Wars Night. Vader threw out the opening pitch. All the pics – and here’s a couple of favs:

Did a couple of new photoshoots on the white backdrop – I let my fans on my facebook page pick one as a thank you (the one they picked was the new Wonder Woman). I also managed to get Chase to let me shoot Anne Boleyn, Padme, and Selene.

Then we did the opening weekend of the WSMI exhibit at the Space and Rocket center. It was awesome – I love that museum and getting to see the changes they’ve made was really cool, but Ash got really sick that day and wasn’t able to troop or anything – it’s a long story but she’s ok now šŸ™‚

The first 3 of these are from the AL folks – Corellian Base and me and Chase. And one of my Ceremonial dress:

And here’s our pics. I put new sleeves on Ceremonial Leia for this. Still not where I want it to be but ah well.

Donna Troy and Arica look great šŸ™‚ Can’t wait to see photos of your other costumes at D*C šŸ˜€

Love that arty/close shot of your Anne costume, reminds me of a film poster/book cover šŸ™‚

I so need to organize my costumes (not that I have many, but they’re scattered all over the place). Love what you’ve done, I may borrow your idea…

totally borrow! It’s such a weight off the mind to have everything organized and know where it all is!
